The High Heaven is back with this searing 4-track EP, which serves as a companion piece to their 2020 debut release 'Fairytales of the Heartland.' Chronicling the violent lives of Six-Gun Sam and Black-Eyed Belle, the record's two main protagonists, 'Outlaws' is a mini Wild West epic that features all the power and blood-soaked intensity of their first record.

The EP includes thrilling performances by new bass player Dali Platt (Batz, Badgers) and drummer Brodie Casey (Easy Browns, Purple Curtain). It was once again mixed by Michael Badger (whose credits include King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard’s ‘Nonagon Infinity’) and mastered by David Briggs (Little River Band).

This album was pretty good. I liked the heavy sounds mixed with the clear, powerful vocals. This album is a slow burn, though. It gets better as it goes and builds to a truley epic finishing track. I will be listening to it again. Gregory
